Term 3 Reflection
What progress did you make in your final term of photography?
I have earned so much in the past term that had made me prosper into a great photographer. The assignments I did had taught me how to change my perspective of taking pictures and it has made me into a better photographer.

How has your idea of photography changed?
Before, my views of a photographer were just some person taking pictures of people and objects. My views changed a lot when I started to take pictures myself and I used unique ways to change the look of the picture so that it looks better. My family and cousins always tell me how great of a photographer I am and how I should become a part time photographer in the future. The skills that I now have don't differ too much from what I had before but my views as a photographer have. I have had a lot of time to think about my assignments and I think the time I took to get the actual project together was worth the wait.

What skills do you now have?
I really like taking pictures in shallow depth of field because the object is in focus while the background is all blurred and it puts the focus directly in the object. Taking pictures to me is just a fun activity that you can get totally lost in and this has taken up some of my time but it was all worth it in the end because I have developed and learned. In term 3 I have learned a lot about using the camera and my subject position and placement for the photo. I have also made my pictures better by changing the angle f the camera to get a cool shot.

How have your pictures improved?
My pictures have definitely improved from the beginning of the year and my style of taking pictures has gotten better. My skills in Photoshop have definitely improved because I really didn’t know much about Photoshop before I came into the photography class and Ms.Lewis has taught all of us so much.

What do you skills do you feel most confident about?
The skills I feel most confident about, I think, is using the object of the picture in different ways and taking pictures in ways that nobody has thought about. There are man things I have learned but the main thing I learned was generally just taking pictures in your own way and handing in your own artwork. Ms.Lewis has done an amazing job at talking us through the assignments and helping us as much as possible.
Thanks :)

About Me
Hello and welcome to my photography website. My name is Chhaya Chand and I'm 15 years old. i love taking photos it's like capturing a piece of a moment that will now be in your hands. I also love to capture the essence of the moment and when you look at the photo, it makes you feel like you are re-living the time and place at which the photo was taken. thanks for checking out my website!
What I have learned so far.
What i have learned is that capturing a picture takes a lot of time and thought which is why i tend to do things a bit slower. I think that the projects that we are doing/did are really neat and it is something different. When Ms.Lewis gives us a new project/ assignment, my brain flows with ideas and i am just so ready to do the assignment. i just have a hard time finding the right time to do these assignments because of my other classes and i sometimes forget to write my ideas down for later. My idea of photography has changed and grown because when i took the class last year, Ms.Pryor had us doing a lot on photoshop and yea i get that, that is apart of photography but i think that taking photos is more so what we should do in photography and learn different ways of holding the camera and adjustments. i also kinda think we need new cameras, did you know that there is a Canon 7d mark ii coming out? anyways, i hope to accomplish more camera skills with aperture priority and dramatic photos capturing the models emotions and personality in the photo.
